Children of the Corn

Every once in a while it's fun to forget your age. Last weekend my friends and I drove about 40 minutes into Maryland to go to a pumpkin festival. We were probably the only group who didn't have children. So while the couples in their late 20s and early 30s were exhaustedly chasing after their kids, we were running with the kids. Ice cream cone in hand trying to find the exit in the corn maze we were really having fun. Hay rides, pumpkin patches, and a petting zoo in the perfect October weather it was more than enjoyable. This all served as a reminder to not grow up too fast. It's important to be a child even for a day before life as you know it flies on by. Try to do the random seasonal activities you normally wouldn't, I'm sure you won't regret it. A girl needs some hay thrown in her hair every now and than.
