Rainy Days

One of the biggest troubles I have been dealing with while I am transitioning into the world of an adult is rainy day fashion. Nothing can put a damper on your day like when your good shoes get wet. Your toes start to freeze and throughout the day the shoes don't even come close to drying. On top of that my hair poofs up so I look like a poodle and I'm just miserable. It's not like college where I could wear sweatpants and my hideous pair of rain boots, I looked like a exhibit in the MoMA but I was warm and comfortable. Unfortunately it is time to grow up. Growing up does not mean being miserable and cold though, the best place to start is a good pair of chic rain boots. Unfortunately rain boots are not the cheapest and tend to look tacky, but a good pair is essential and you only do need one that you can keep for a lifetime. Nordstrom's has plenty of options of rain boots varying in prices that are perfect for people in the professional world.

Here is a link to a posting I found about the essentials for rainy days. Stay dry and jump in a puddle if you can.
